For over 30 years now, Islay has been host of the Islay Festival of Malt.  Held annually on the last week of May; when the temperature is just right and the man eating midgies are still at bay.  This festival calls upon all whisky connoisseurs from all over  the globe.

Islay is part of the Southern Hebrides and home to approx. 3,200 people and also resident to some of the most replenishing Scottish malts including: Ardbeg, Bruichladdich,Lagavulin and Laphroaig.  With miles of beautiful beaches and a good stretch of road - you can't resist a good cycle if you're going to the festival - take on the Whisky trail.

All distilleries will open their doors to the public for daily tastings, there's golf, bowing ceilidhs and Gaelic lessons and proper good music!  The festival will commence the week of May 26th- 3rd June.
