Here at The Cycle Jersey we are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with great organisations, creating jersey designs in support of great causes.
The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation Tartan Jersey was manufactured in collaboration with Doddie Weir and Rob Wainwright in support of finding a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Doddie Weir OBE was one of rugby's most recognizable personalities, earning 61 caps for Scotland during his successful career. In June 2017, Doddie revealed he was suffering from Motor Neurone Disease and in November the charity, My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, was founded. He sadly passed away on 26th November 2022, at the age of 52.
The My Name'5 Doddie foundation aims to raise funds for research and grants for those suffering MND. In collaboration with Doddie Weir and his team, we designed the Tartan Jersey which was worn by Rob Wainwright and cyclist Mark Beaumont during the Calcutta Cup cycling challenge.
The Tartan Jersey is live on our website, available in both road and enduro styles, and has been one of our most loved designs with a generous donation from every sale going to the foundation.
We are also proud to manufacture the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation windcheeta jacket, snood, dog lead and collar.
Here at The Cycle Jersey, we are always trying to grow our range of products to raise as much money as possible for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we are proud to announce we have a new product available!
The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation Reversible Bucket Hat is now available on The Cycle Jersey website! This cool new hat is the iconic blue and yellow tartan on one side and the blue with the foundation logo on the other. To make this new product even better, for every purchase, 33% will be donated to the foundation so you can support finding a cure for MND whilst raising awareness!
