It's not only Edinburgh and Cardiff that are new to the event; there's a further 9 neighbouring cities that will be visited!! But you'll need to stay tuned to find out.  This year there are going to be summit finishes - which haven't been seen since 2013.

Now lets get to the good bit!

Stage 1: The 188-kilometre Royal Mile opening in Scotland's capital will also include a 79km loop in the Scottish Borders, allowing the fans and passing spectators to see the worlds fastest on two wheels, not once - but twice in one day!

Stage 2: Racing from Kielder Water and Forest Park, all 120 of the worlds greatest cyclists will travel approx. 211km; making it the longest stage of the tour.  The race will finish in Blyth with a finishing loop, so if you miss a beat - don't worry,  you'll see it for a second time this year.

Stage 3: A 182km stage, passing through the Normanby Hall County Park estate and finishing in Scunthorpe.

Stage 4: At this halfway mark, all 120 roadies will pass through Harworth and Bircotes where the museum and memorial to 1965 World Champ Tommy Simpson is located.

Stage 5: It's time trial timeeee!  The 10 mile loop will start and finish in Clacton - who'll come out on top here...

Stage 6: Some of the new neighbouring towns added to this years tour come in to play here.  With the professionals passing through Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Eye, Framlingham and Woodbridge.

Stage 7: Who'll stumble at the last hurdle...  With the King of the Mountains climb commencing just 10km before the decent into Cheltenham (also a new town).

Stage 8: Where the Cardiff finale welcomes the winners!  The 180km route will begin in Worcester and finish on King Edward VII Avenue near Cardiff City Hall.
