Process
Jersey Creation Process
1) Printing
We will print your custom cycle jersey using our in-house machines.
2) Sublimination
Next we use heat to transfer dye onto our jersey material.
3) Stitching
This stage sees your jersey coming together as each section is stitched together.
Sublimination
Sublimation printing is a dye process and the colour(dye) only adheres to the polyester fibres.
Firstly a transfer is printed using state of the art digital printing machines using the highest quality European inks.
When the transfer is heated up to 200degC the dye turns to a gas and then adheres to the polyester fibres instead of sitting on the surface like most other printing techniques.
The result is a print which will not fade, crack or wash out as it is permanently into the fibre of the fabric. It also means the performance of the fabric is maintained.
Many of our polyester fabrics are mainly made from recycled fabrics and product with polyester resulting in less damage to the environment.
